Excellent service at the walk in clinic this Saturday morning. My bacterial tonsillitis came back and was seen in under and hour. Highly recommend

I came in on a busy Sunday last weekend. I was lucky enough to see Dr Manotheethan Jegasothy. I just wished to say how very caring, professional and helpful he was. He took a great deal of time and trouble to assess my symptoms and to advise me appropriately. Absolutely excellent service! Thank you and, in particular, Dr Jegasothy.
Mr Jocelyn Stuart-Grumbar about The Junction Health Centre, March, 2016
I was seen quickly by friendly staff and a great doctor. I was a walk-in first thing in the morning.
Shane Cloherty about The Junction Health Centre, January, 2016
Polite and efficient reception staff. The practice was busy for the drop-in service but I was seen within an hour. Consultation was good and I was given information about my illness which was really useful. The drop-in is a really great service - no hassle with making appointments, just popped in after work. Would highly recommend.

Dr Ellen Scrivener gave excellent care today when I registered for walk in care with severe skin infection. NHS at its best. Professional and friendly service from all.

This was an excellent service provided for a Sunday morning emergency clinic. They made the decision to send me to hospital by ambulance due to the symptoms i presented with. The staff provided an excellent personal service and treated me with respect and dignity.

I have visited the Walk-in Center 4 times in the last week due to a nasty burn on my arm but have been so impressed by my visits. Always got seen within a short period of time, Doctors (esp one in particular) were amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable and put me at ease. I didn't feel like they were rushing me out to see the next patient. All staff were super helpful and friendly from the time you enter to when you leave. Very impressed with all round care and will definitely use The Junction if I ever need to use a Walk-in service again.

Extremely busy morning. Waiting room full of people. Staff very busy. Yet was seen within 2 hours and issue sorted by a very kind, calm and professional Dr. Highly recommended.

I suffer from Psoriasis and went to the clinic wanting a prescription for my steroid cream but the doctor suggested it might actually be a rash I contracted whilst "sleeping rough" and asked me if my clothes had been washed at all in the last month!!! I had a shower just before going to the clinic and was wearing brand-new designer gear (my friends even asked me why I am going to the doctors looking so spruced-up) so the only thing I can think of which might have given the doctor that impression is the fact I have a slightly wild-looking hair-do, however making a judgement like that based on someone's hair style alone is simply disgusting! I have literally never felt so offended in my entire life!

I needed a new prescription for HRT as my usual is now not available. A doctor who I hadn't seen before prescribed me an HRT which I have now discovered is potentially carcinogenic for a female who has not had a hysterectomy - which I haven't. The doctor in question didn't even ask me if I had had a hysterectomy. I now know that what was prescribed needs an additional prescription. the only reason I am writing this review is so that the practice will ensure anyone dealing with hormonal issues will actually know what they are talking about.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand our Lead GP has spoken to you about this and explained the circumstances and conditions under which the prescription was given. As you have been out of the country for some time we have very limited options available to us. Upon the return to the UK please seek medical help again and we will try to help further. Girlfriend came on over weekend with eye problem. No doctor present, only a nurse. Given wrong treatment. Condition worsened over weekend. Went to GP today, instant referral to emergency eye clinic in hospital and signed off work for a week. What's the point of a walk-in service if no doctor?! Better service if had gone straight to A&E. Rude treatment from receptionist.

We do appreciate all feedback and I would be grateful if you could get in contact via the surgery telephone number or email address so I can investigate this case further. The walk-in clinic is primarily a nurse led service, however, there is a doctor on site at all times working alongside the nurse practitioners. Could not get an appointment with local GP so phoned here, polite and helpful person on phone. We had to wait less than an hour in a pleasant air conditioned waiting room. The doctor was thorough and helpful

Our 8 month old had to wait for over 1h... no priority for a a child under 1 year old who is not feeling well is insane. We knew everyone in the waiting wouldn't mind waiting 10mins for it. Unbelievable and I wouldn't recommend parents with babies coming here.

This is the third time Ive been to the walk in centre as part of my dressing care. My own nurse is fully booked and my walk in closed in March. I have had to wait each time, which is to be expected,Im not a priority and can wait. Each time I have seen a different person and each has been exemplary in their patient care, knowledge, advice and skill. I want to say thank you. Ive been to a few other nurses recently and the last one particularly didnt make me feel sanitised or cared about.

Registered at 16:30 (ear infection, left side of face was swollen badly) waited 2 hours, asked the reception how long do I have to wait and it turns out they forgot to put my name on the system. They told me I'd be seen straight away, still in the waiting room 1 hour later. 15-20 people came in after me and have all been seen and I'm still waiting here!

On the website it says "call when it suits you" and "use our quick and easy online booking service 24/7". Neither of these are true, I rarely use the online booking system as there are only ever three or four appointments available weeks in advance and when you finally get through on the phone after being on hold for half an hour, reception tells you "nah, you can't talk to a doctor, only Monday to Friday'". As a registered patient I expect to at the very least be able to see a doctor as easily as walk ins. It is absolutely ridiculous to not be able to make an appointment for less than a week in advance and to not be able to speak with a doctor because they have now decided that call backs count as an appointment which have to be booked. When I registered as a patient, I requested to see one doctor regularly as I have mental health problems and do not like having to see different people all the time. I have not seen my doctor in months and the lack of appointments and rude reception staff cause me to not see a doctor as often as I need to. I consistently have bad experiences here, as has my husband, who even emailed the surgery with concerns and was completely ignored. If this surgery cannot accommodate its patients, it should become purely a walk in centre since that it what their main priority seems to be. Even this morning, the receptionist (eventually) answered the phone, "Junction Walk in".
