You can call the practice between 8am - 8pm every day to book appointments, obtain test results and speak to a clinician if needed.
Make or cancel appointments online
It’s easy to book or cancel an appointment with your GP or nurse online, 24 hours a day – just use our online booking system. You will need a username and password, available from our reception team.
You can also download a free mobile app for this service for both Android and Apple phones and tablets.
Appointments are available at The Junction Health Centre every day, including bank holidays.
If you’d prefer, you can always call us on 0333 200 1718 to make an appointment. Outside of our opening times you will need to call NHS 111.
Remembering your appointment
We can text you to remind you of a forthcoming appointment. If you want to use this free service, speak to our reception staff.
Ask a question
Do you have a question for a doctor or nurse but don’t need an appointment? No problem, we offer phone consultations. Call us between 8am and 11:00 am and our reception staff will ensure a doctor or nurse calls you back when they’re free.
We can come to you
If you’re housebound, very ill or elderly, we can visit you at home. Non-urgent home visits can be arranged with a few days’ notice. Urgent visits will be done as quickly as possible, although your preferred doctor may not be available. Please call before 10am to book a home visit appointment. If you require a home visit after 6.30 pm, please call NHS 111.
No longer need your appointment?
Every month over 100 appointments are missed by patients who don’t let us know in advance. This means patients in need are missing out on an appointment.
Please let us know if you no longer need your appointment. If you fail to turn up to three or more pre-arranged appointments you may be taken off our practice list.
If you think you’re likely to forget your appointment, you can ask to receive our free reminder texting service – just talk to the reception team.
